Catherine Lew L. Ac. Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist After seeing the powerful impact that acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) had on her own ailments, Cathy became an avid supporter of natural and alternative medicine. She began referring friends and family to local practitioners, but soon found that this was not enough for her. She felt convicted to have a more direct hand in helping others find the healing that she, herself, had found. After working for several years at an Internet company in Silicon Valley, Cathy decided to change paths and enroll at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. There she earned a Masters of Science degree in TCM. While in school, she also gained valuable experience with internships at the ACTCM Community Ear Clinic and the Haight-Ashbury Free Clinic.
Cathy received further clinical training in China and was able to see the practice of TCM firsthand in the country where it all began thousands of years ago. She completed rotations at Chengdu University of TCM and Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. The majority of this training took place in the fields of acupuncture, TCM Internal Medicine, gynecology and dermatology.
